Bar-Ilan University’s International School students, researchers, and alumni are always happy to spread the word about their experiences at the university. They talk about their studies, the professors, social life on campus, why they love BIU, and more. Read about Reut Koltzker here or watch the video testimonials of the others below.
Reut Koltzker, an Israeli who has chosen to study in English through the International School, is doing her BA in Linguistics and French Culture. She shares her feelings about studying at Bar-Ilan.
I chose to study for this degree for the simple reason that I love languages and, at Bar-Ilan University, I can pursue a degree in linguistics and combine it with French studies.
During my experience at BIU, I got to meet many people from all around the world, and I was able to go on a student exchange program to Grenada, Spain. I was also sent by the Department of French Culture to do an internship and learn French at a multilingual school in France for two weeks!
My favorite things at Bar-Ilan are the relationships between students and professors, and the vibe of the community we have here.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Bar-Ilan and if I had to do it all again, I would have chosen to do everything the same.
I will be graduating soon, but I invite you to come and experience living in Israel and studying at Bar-Ilan University!
