Combining Biblical Studies and Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology (LISA) in a special open day for graduate students is an obvious decision.
Not only are there many overlaps in these two departments and the degree programs, but Bar-Ilan University encourages graduate students in one program to enjoy courses from the other. In other words, students in the Bible Department can take courses from the LISA Department and may participate in archaeological digs and other tours around the country, while students studying in the LISA department can study the Hebrew Bible in all its many facets.
As a result, the first open day, which takes place on October 13, 2020 at 10:00 and 20:00 (Israel time) will cover graduate degrees in Biblical Studies and Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology (LISA)
