Guilhem Banc-Prandi
Fourth-Year Doctoral Student, Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences
Guilhem Banc-Prandi, a PhD student in our Faculty of Life Sciences, is conducting research in the Laboratory of Prof. Maoz Fine at the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat.
Eitan Tannenbaum
First-Year Doctoral Student in Bioengineering
Eitan Tannenbaum completed his MSc in Neurobiology at Bar-Ilan University recently. During his studies, he met his now wife, Batya Levy, then a BIU Social Sciences major, on campus. This semester, he returned to Bar-Ilan to begin his PhD in Bioengineering.
Chagit Sofiev-Leviev
BA Graduate, Economics and Business Administration
Chagit Sofiev-Leviev, 34, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Economics and Business Administration, is currently CEO of the Leviev Group USA, a multi-billion-dollar holdings company, with investments in real estate, high tech, diamonds and jewelry. An active social media personality, a speaker and a mother of four, Chagit serves on the board of numerous not-for-profit organizations advancing women in the business world.
Roni Amrani
BA Graduate, Social Work
Roni Amrani, 24, of Ashdod, recently completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Bar-Ilan University and volunteers at ILAN (Israel Association for Children with Disabilities). Roni, who was born with cerebral palsy (CP) and gets around in a motorized wheelchair, reflects on her academic experience.
Dr. Michal Zelcer-Lavid
Professor in the Multidisciplinary Program in Humanities
Dr. Michal Zelcer-Lavid, from the Multidisciplinary Program in Humanities at Bar-Ilan University, researches minorities and ethnicities in western China, and especially, politics and ethnic conflicts in Asia and contemporary China.
