Step 1: Get in the application form

Create a new user account (or log-in with your Existing User details)

Upload the required documents: 

  • copies of your official transcript *
  • copies of your official diploma *
  • a photocopy of the first page of your Passport or Teudat Zehut (Israeli ID), as well as a recent passport-sized (2″x2″) photo of your face *
  • Scores from SAT, ACT, TOEFL, or Psychometric tests – if needed.

        Step 4

         After uploading and filling out the needed fields, you’d have to pay 460 ILS of a non-refundable registration fee. An application confirmation will be sent to your email address.

        Step 5

        Thereafter, your application will be reviewed and examined in accordance with the specific requirements. A letter of acceptance or rejection will be sent to your email address up to 30 working days. Bear in mind that there are departments in which internal committees will have to deliberate, so the application might take longer.

        Hurray, you’ve been accepted to the track(s) you applied for! Now you should pay the down payment, which will be sent to you along with the acceptance letter. The letter will also include a link to the Welcome Letter, where you can find essential information. 

        Step 7

         Sign up to courses: around mid-August you’d have a time slot in which you would need to sign up to next year’s courses. The academic year will begin on October 10, 2021.

        * A copy of your bachelor’s degree official diploma 

        • A copy of your bachelor’s degree official transcript (Including a grading scale) 
          * A photocopy of your passport

          * If the required documents are not in English, you must present the original documents, along with an English translation with a notarized certificate of the accuracy of the translation. 

          Feel free to add any other documents you find relevant.

          Step 4

                    • Submit the Application

                      Log in to the BIUInternational Online Applicant Portal, and fill out your application form.
                      You are required to pay a non-refundable, ₪ 458 application fee each time you apply.

                    • Send Transcripts & Diplomas

                      Applicants must send in official copies of their transcripts and their high school diploma/ matriculation certificate. Students in their final year of studies may send in a partial transcript, and be accepted pending receipt of their final transcript and diploma.
                      While the decision process may be expedited by uploading digital copies of the required documents in the Applicant Portal, original copies must be mailed to our office directly.

                    • Send Test Scores

                      Scores from SAT, ACT, or Psychometric, are required for admission, and must be sent directly from the testing agency. Students who have taken the same exam multiple times, will have only their best scores considered.

                    • Upload ID & Passport Photo

                      Applicants must upload or email a photocopy of the first page of their Passport or Teudat Zehut, and a recent, 2″x2″, passport-sized photo of themselves.

                    Supplementary Documentation

                    Depending on your academic history and status, you may be required to send in the following additional information.

                    TOEFL / IELTS Scores

                    Students who studied in a non-English-speaking secondary school are required to score a 134 on the English section of the Psychometric test, or submit the equivalent TOEFL score.

                    College Transcripts

                    Applicants who have participated in a post-high school academic program (Yeshiva, Seminary, Gap Year, Mechina, or College) should transmit a copy of these transcripts.

                    High School Enrollment

                    Applicants who are still enrolled in high school/secondary school should have their school submit a letter certifying this fact.
