To earn a BA in English Literature, students must complete a total of 64 academic credits. These are comprised of: 26 English Literature credits, 25 Communication credits, 10 Judaic Studies credits, 3 General Studies credits.
Judaic Studies Requirement
Jewish students are required to complete 10 credits of Judaic Studies courses. These are academic courses in a variety of fields within the Faculty of Jewish Studies. Students who are not Jewish are not required to take these courses and may convert these 10 credits into additional General Studies courses by contacting their program coordinator.
General Studies Requirement
Students are required to take 3 credits of general courses. These can be selected from over 6,000 courses offered across the university, provided they are unrelated to your double major and are not Judaic Studies courses. Students who possess a minimum Level 4 Hebrew proficiency are welcome to take these courses in Hebrew.
