Prof. Moshe Lewenstein: Insights on a Significant Partnership in Launching the International School
As the former Deputy President of Bar-Ilan University, I was pleased to bring Ofer Dahan on board to help launch the university’s International School. From the very beginning, I recognized Ofer’s unique talents and unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic educational environment for international students.
Working alongside him over the past several years has been a pleasure. Ofer is someone I deeply admire and respect, not only for his incredible energy but for his remarkable ability to take on challenging projects with enthusiasm and determination. I am especially grateful for his willingness to tackle tasks many others would shy away from. Ofer sees difficult projects not as obstacles but as opportunities—challenges to overcome with creativity, resourcefulness, and his extensive network of connections.
One of Ofer’s greatest talents is his ability to make things happen. He approaches every initiative with a positive and energetic attitude, using every tool at his disposal to get things moving forward. Many of the successes of the International School can be credited to his unique ability to push boundaries and think outside the box. His “can-do” spirit and drive were instrumental in shaping the International School into what it is today, and I am deeply grateful for all the work he has done.
Ofer is a true doer, someone who doesn’t just dream but acts—and acts boldly. His optimistic outlook and proactive approach to life have left a lasting impact on the culture of the International School. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ofer brings with him an infectious positivity and an energetic way of looking at life that inspires everyone around him.

Prof. Rivka Tuval Mashiach: Reflections on Working with Ofer Dahan
It has been an inspiring experience to work with Ofer, even if only for one year. Ofer is a force of nature—full of energy, always initiating new ideas, programs, and connections. It’s truly amazing to see him in action. While most of us are still brainstorming or “cooking” an idea, Ofer is already making the required phone calls to bring it to life. His ability to take an idea and immediately move it forward is inspiring.
Ofer has a young and adventurous spirit, always dreaming of new trips, exploring unseen landscapes, and conquering challenges in his professional life and personal adventures. He brings that same passion and drive to the office, which was contagious to everyone around him. Ofer is a true people’s person. Seeing how he maintains relationships with so many individuals he has worked with over the years was impressive. He genuinely cares about the people he connects with, and he has built an extensive network that spans the globe.
