The Bar-Ilan University International School’s representatives in India have arranged a special event on April 8, 2021, at 13:30 (GMT+3) to promote the English MSc in Physics program especially to Indian students, although potential students from other countries are welcome to participate.
The subject of the open day is “Frontier Research Opportunities in the Physics Department at BIU” and it will include an overview of the research topics and groups in the department.
The open day will be hosted by Bar-Ilan University’s International School. Prof. Rachel Dekel, Academic Head, Dafi Forer-Kremer, Marketing and Recruitment Director, and Divya Shevale, our India Representative, will talk about Bar-Ilan University, the academic requirements, the application and registration process, visas, dorms, health insurance, and more.
Prof. Efrat Shimshoni and Dr. Yossi Ben Zion from the Physics Department in the Faculty of Exact Sciences will present the academic part of the program.
Prof. Shimshoni will speak about herself and her research activities. She will also explain Israel’s scientific ties with India and why potential students should consider Bar-Ilan University for their MSc in Physics. Dr. Yossi Ben Zion will talk about the Physics department and give an overview of the degree in general.
All current students and working professionals who have a strong educational background in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry would be good candidates for our Master of Science program, and we look forward to welcoming you all to our open day.
