The BA in Psychology at Bar-Ilan University offers a foundation in the scientific study of human behavior, emotion, and cognition. Led by internationally recognized faculty, students have the opportunity to engage directly in cutting-edge research within modern laboratories, utilizing the latest scientific methodologies to explore their specific areas of interest. Core coursework includes Introduction to Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Brain and Behavior, Research Methods, and Statistics.

This three-year degree is aimed at students whose goal is to learn and study in Hebrew. During the first year, you will study in English while participating in an intensive Hebrew Ulpan. Achieving level four (Dalet) by the end of the first year is required before continuing the program, with each Ulpan level costing 3,500 NIS. By the end of the program, you will complete approximately 600 hours of Hebrew Ulpan.

This degree is designed to provide both an academic and a professional qualification, exposing students to practical applications. Bar-Ilan hosts Israel’s only university-based psychology clinic, allowing students to observe and understand clinical and organizational psychology in a real-world community setting. This exposure builds an exceptional foundation for students planning to pursue graduate studies and clinical licensure in specializations such as Clinical Psychology, Social-Organizational Psychology, or Cognition, Emotion, and Brain (CEB) research.

Graduates of the psychology program are ready to apply their deep understanding of human behavior to successful careers in organizational development, human resources, market research, and user experience (UX/UI) design.

  • The admission requirements for this program are:
    • High School Diploma: Required for all applicants.
