Israel’s Council for Higher Education and the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities have announced the call for the “Excellence Fellowship Program for International Postdoctoral Researchers in Israel”. The application deadline is October 1, 2021.
Through this initiative, Israel offers recent outstanding PhD graduates of all academic disciplines the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in Israel with leading scientists and scholars in their field – and signifies Israel’s commitment to the promotion of international scientific collaborations and to the advancement of world-class research.

A maximum of 20 fellowships will be provided to incoming postdoctorates conducting research at Bar-Ilan University, among others. Fellowships will be allocated in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), the Humanities, and the Social Sciences.
Awardees will be notified by January 15, 2022.
