Dr. Kavita Sharma
Postdoctoral fellow, Fiber-Optics and Integrated Photonic Devices Research Lab
Dr. Kavita Sharma of New Delhi, a postdoctoral fellow in Bar-Ilan University’s Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, is pleased to be conducting her research in Israel, and specifically at Bar-Ilan University.
“I had heard about the excellent research facilities here from a few graduates of my PhD university – the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras – who did their postdocs in Israel.”
Dr. Or Anabi
Graduate, Department of Sociology and Anthropology
Dr. Or Anabi, a graduate of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Bar-Ilan University, is currently a researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute’s Guttman Center for Public Opinion and Policy Research.
Dr. Yossi Adi
Graduate, Department of Computer Science
Dr Yossi Adi is a research scientist at Facebook AI Research in Tel Aviv and a professional drummer who performs worldwide. Yossi recently won the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award for 2020 from the Israeli Association for Artificial Intelligence (IAAI).
Dr. Yogev Kivity
Director and Researcher: Department of Psychology
Dr. Yogev Kivity, Director of BIU’s Laboratory for Dynamic Processes of Psychopathology and Psychotherapy, is a clinical psychologist and former Fulbright Fellow who is also studying “mentalization” – the human capacity for thinking about mental states such as emotions, thoughts and beliefs of ourselves and others.
Prof. Motti Neiger
School of Communication
Prof. Neiger lectures at the School of Communication in areas relating to journalism during conflicts, political communication, journalistic ethics, and press freedom as well as popular culture and reality shows.
